We've been looking forward to this one, since that last maxi pulled off outside the fete at about 11:15 pm o'clock last year. In its second year at this venue, Eclipze has already established itself as a TJJ must do event on the Fetalotathon®. This one, hands down, has the title "the fete with the best view." If for no other reason, you have to check this one out for the view and the architecture of the venue. We have nothing but respect for the men who actually build this place yes, literally off the side of a mountain. But if you not really into the architecture thing, you still in luck, cause we could list nuff other reasons that this one remains of the TJJ Top 5 Carnival events.

TJJ rolls up just as the sun is going down, just in time to get a glimpse of the magnificent north coast view. Entry was quick and efficient; the Eclipze crew always looks out for the TJJ fam! First stop is always the bar for a pace setting libation. Quick service at the bar means we off to an excellent start . A quick spin through the party before we warm up the cameras and whip out the TJJ TV fete cam reveals that this is indeed a party for the grown and very sexy crowd. There's nothing like being in a fete with a perfect venue and the crowd to match. Tucked away quietly in the back of the fete we even ran into international reggae superstar Sean Paul having a good old time to some soca music. DJ Richard Simply smooth had the crowd grooving from start to finish, with all the biggest carnival hits and the classic soca party favorites. When we asked his choice for Road March, he said, "Faye Ann all de way!"

Once we were able to peel ourselves from the vibes upstairs we headed down to the deck below to see what the chefs had prepared for us . Not to be outdone by the best of the All Inclusives, like Marcia Maranda once said, the kitchen was well prepared. Folks (including TJJ's L Boogie) were still talkin' bout the bake and shark in this fete all j'ouvert mornin' and all . Even the lime downstairs was tight, we end up liming down there for a minute before we realize "A" is for action upstairs ... socializing time done, time for some "Thunder Waist" now. Did we mention there were bars downstairs as well? So by now everybody has got their buzz on and the music sounding sweeter than ever. Yuh feel the grown and sexy doh know how to have a good time too??!! Dance was so sweet, the Eclipze crew added on some time to the fete. Nothing like getting even more than you bargained for!

Like all good things however, this one had to come to an end too. We counting down the days to Carnival Saturday C2K9! We can't think of a better way to spend a Carnival Saturday in sweet TnT. Much thanks to Wayne, Carlton, Kona, Sheldon, Sean and the entire Blitz Productions crew for taking care of the TJJ fam. We there next year for sure! Doubles man ... gimme two, slight peppa and 5 tuh go! Stay tuned for TJJ TV coverage.
