Over twenty (20) artistes have joined the cast of a song dedicated to celebrating the twin island of Trinidad and Tobago. The song entitled ‘We Are’ was originally written by REMBUNCTION! and produced by Isaac Blackman. Its message of ‘unity and equality’ was so compelling that it sparked a movement that brought many musical giants from the islands together.

The song was originally written in celebration of Trinidad and Tobago’s milestone achievement of fifty years as an independent nation, but, the poignant lyrics continue to spark a sense of national pride and togetherness among its listeners long after Independence Day celebrations. As a result the ‘We Are’ movement has evolved into much more.

The cast of entertainers on the remix include Baron, Brother Resistance, Chris Garcia, Colin Lucas, Carl and Carol Jacobs and family, Drupatee, General Grant, H2O Phlo, Isaac, Marge and Nihelet Blackman, Johnny King, Kees, K-Rich, Krystal Khane, Levi Mayers, Michelle Xavier, Nadia Batson, Olatunji Yearwood, Omari Ashby, Ravi-B, Ricki Jai, Shadow, Shurwayne Winchester, Signal Hill Choir, The Lydian Singers, The Burton Sisters, The Alternative Quartet and Ziggy Rankin. The video also features appearances by local personalities such as Errol Fabien, Janelle "Penny" Commissiong -Chow, Cecilia Salazar as Ms. Miles and The Soca Warriors.
