Calypso Rose Interview with Trini Jungle Juice (Trinidad Carnival 2016)

Calypso Rose celebrated her 80th birthday on April 27th this year. Let's throw it back to 2016 when Dre aka The Carnival Ref caught up with the undisputed Queen of Calypso (for more than 40 years) at Machel Monday "The Monk Evolution MMXVI" concert. After having produced 30 albums and composed 800 songs, Calypso Rose lives today in the Queens in NYC. Her album "Far From Home" was released on May 27th 2016 on Because Music label.
