CROWD:
Island Mix operated at capacity from midnight causing security officials to refuse entry on occasions to those who thought that the fete would commence only when they arrived.
VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
Located at 1050 Brock Road in Pickering, the Island Mix restaurant and lounge easy access jut off the 401.
VIBES:
The vibe at this event was non-stop pace from 1:00am right up until the fire alarm was pulled at 2:15am bringing a premature end to what was going to be a really fabulous event!
SERVICE:
There was no problem at all! Very little waiting time despite huge crowds for food and/or drinks.
FOOD/DRINK:
Good food and drink was not a problem at this event as a well stocked bar combined with West Indian cuisine satisfied all who attended.
COST/VALUE:
This event was very much a value for money. Some will say it was easily worth $25.
