AUGUST 20, 2019 – Montego Bay, Jamaica – Four of the most influential individuals in the cannabis industry, Bruce Linton, Cam Battley, Steve DeAngelo and Vicente Fox will deliver keynote addresses at the CanEx Jamaica Business Conference and Expo 2019 taking place at the Montego Bay Convention Centre, September 26-28.
Linton, founder and former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Canopy Growth, the world's largest publicly traded cannabis company; Battley, Chief Corporate Officer (CCO) of Canada-based Aurora Cannabis, the second largest publicly traded cannabis company in the world; DeAngelo, who co-founded Harborside Health, Steep Hill and The Arc View Group, the first cannabis investment firm, and Vicente Fox, former president of Mexico, who sits on the boards of Latin America-focused cannabis company Khiron Life Sciences and US based High Times Group, will headline the event.

Now in its fourth year, CanEx Jamaica Business Conference and Expo, will feature over 80 speakers, addressing issues related to the legal cannabis industry including banking and finance, the business of cannabis, legal and advocacy, cannabis cultivation, technology, science and medicine.
DeAngelo, who’s Harborside Health was one of the first companies in the USA to be awarded a medical marijuana licence, believes that the legal cannabis industry could help save the environment, noting that more than 50,000 different products can be made from hemp.

“It (cannabis) is a tremendous raw material. We are learning new and amazing things all the time. The future is that (cannabis) is the most important and valuable industry on Planet Earth,” he said.
With over 150 booths expected, CanEx founder Douglas K. Gordon, is promising a vibrant event with myriad ideas for exploration in the expanding legal cannabis industry.
More than 3500 participants from 30 countries including Australia, Barbados, Canada, Colombia, Czech Republic, Israel, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Trinidad and Tobago, and the United States are expected to attend.
