"OHA Fete 2019 - A return to premium"
Over the years, the ladies of the Old Hilarians' Association (OHA) have made every effort to deliver on the promise of crafting a one-of-a-kind experience across all featured elements of the annual Bishop's Fete. This includes a comfortable venue, mouth-watering menu, a choice selection of drinks and the best of music entertainment.

A Return to Premium - OHA Fete manifesto
The challenge of the economic climate over the past year took its toll on the business of feting in Trinidad. With the mission of supporting Bishop Anstey High School, Port of Spain close-at-heart, this year, the committee has adopted a 'fete manifesto', making a commitment to its loyal patrons to better serve and fulfill the high expectations many have come to have of its 23 years of all-inclusive party excellence.

Le Rouge et Noir - Fete with the First Ladies of Soca
The 2019 fete themed, "Le Rouge et Noir - City of Red of Black", will transform the party's newest venue, the exterior of the 'Grande Dame' of Queen's Hall into a glittering French themed evening, complete with streets of Rouge (red), Noir (black) and D'Or (gold), offering a cornucopia of Spicy Caribbean Cuisine, International Cuisine and Exotic foods and desserts. A premium bar will be available all night with an entertainment line-up of four Soca bands featuring the 'First Ladies of Soca'.

The First Ladies of Feting
Bishop's proudly retains the title of being the first among secondary schools to employ the fundraising all-inclusive fete model. The move has benefited the school incredibly over the years in the challenging mission of upgrading and in some cases reconstructing the legacy buildings of the school.

For 2019, the OHA has been given a new challenge in its on-going effort to support and aid in school infrastructure. In order to bring the school facilities into the 21st century, this year's funds will be dedicated to a complete upgrading of the plumbing system and renovation of all the school bathrooms in three of the main aging buildings within the two-block facility on Keate Street, Port of Spain.

In keeping with the school's motto, 'Non Sine Pulvere Palman' (Not without dust, the palm or There is no reward without hard work), the OHA has stepped boldly back into the ring to rally its fundraising effort with hard work in pursuit of excellence in all ventures. It issues a clarion call to the entire Hilarian sisterhood to rally their crews and support the red and black for the the biggest uptown fete fundraiser for the 2019 Carnival season.
