Giselle The Wassi One ushered in a new era in June 2015 as she launched her company, Wassi World Entertainment LLC. The business encompasses all of Giselle The Wassi One’s current and ongoing endeavors to spread Caribbean culture across the globe. Her talents/services as Bandleader, Radio/T.V. Personality, Promoter, Cultural Ambassador, Breast Cancer Advocate and yes, even Soca Artist are all combined under this company to better serve the diverse, constantly evolving Caribbean community throughout the world.
The mission of Wassi World Entertainment LLC is to promote the multicultural arts, ethnic diversity and positive Caribbean representation. Giselle the Wassi One has devoted over 25 years to adding her powerful & vibrant personality, humor, knowledge of the Caribbean music history and artists to cultural promotions. Wassi World Entertainment LLC is proud to continue and expand Giselle’s amazing relationships with soca artists, radio/TV stations, sponsors, promoters, supporters and Caribbean communities throughout the world.
The first project of the company just wrapped in Los Angeles CA, as Giselle The Wassi One and DJ Stephen (her business partner) presented the debut of their signature Colours Mas Band 2015 presentation “Color Me Crazy” at the Los Angeles Culture Festival on the world famous Hollywood Boulevard in California. The next big project is the world premier of “The Run Down” on TEMPO network on July 1st at 9pm hosted by Giselle The Wassi One and DJ Stephen where you can get the run down on all your favorite Caribbean artist. Proceeding that is the Miami Carnival band launch of Wassi Ones presentation for 2015 “Dey in It” scheduled for Sunday 12th July. This year’s portrayal is adding a new sexy modern twist to the traditional carnival costumes and characters. The staff of Wassi World Entertainment is excited to participate in yet another historic chapter in Caribbean Carnival history that will be remembered as spectacular events. In the words of Giselle The Wassi One “Miss it – Yuh mad or Wha?!!!”
