One such artiste is none other than two time Road March title holder, Shurwayne Winchester. With two powerful tracks already making headlines and blazing on the airwaves, the Iron Man, as he’s fondly known, has proven that he does in fact have what it takes to be the soca ambassador of Trinidad and Tobago.

Winchester this past week released road tune #2, a track called, “Wicked,” and already, radio station junkies around the country have been asking, “ where does he get the energy, where does he get the vibe...’’

Shurwayne Winchester and his newly formed band, YOU, have come out blazing hot in 2009 and insiders at the SW camp have assured that there’s no fear, no hesitation, no distraction when it comes to Shurwayne and YOU.

In anticipation of the Groovy and Power soca monarch competitions, Winchester said that although everyone wishes to be a winner, at the end of the day, it’s not about who wins, but more so, it’s about where the music is taken beyond the competition…

Up to the time of this release, Shurwayne remained mum on which Groovy track will be used on competition night in defense of his title. One thing that most will agree on though is the fact that those in his category will have quite a challenge, since regardless of the melody chosen, Winchester will prove to be a force to be reckoned with.
