Christ Church, Barbados – Jun, 2008… Barbadian Ragga Soca artiste Statement has released his new track for the 2008 Cropover season entitled, “Ladies Anthem”.

The man who has delivered such Cropover hits as "Woman You Alone", "I Wanna Be" ("Right Dey") and "If I Can't Be With You" has brought forward a conscious offering that really speaks to the women in society and highlights some of the issues which they often face.

Due to its lyrics which advocate female empowerment and denounce violence and ill-treatment of any kind to women, this groovy Soca tune is set to live up to its title and become an anthem not only amongst the female population but also with men who truly value the women in their respective communities.
