Sugarcane's Blossom is always the one of the best fetes to look forward to each and every Memorial Day weekend. We were excited to see what Charmaine and the Sugarcane crew would pull off this time around - there are always lots of surprises, and treats to look forward to. Blossom is a signature event that exudes style, sophistication, and class. It is truly an experience each year, the food, fun, drinks, amazing atmosphere and good vibes with good people.
This sexy crowd came out to have a good time. Hundreds easily filled the newly expanded heated tent, and the well manicured outdoor areas of the Marine Park Golf Course. They came dressed in the trendies of all summer like trends. Across the crowd, an array of bright colored fashions were pleasant on the eyes. Blossom surely has the best dressed crowd in Brooklyn - men and women alike.
Many kudos to the team that invested their time and effort into working hard on the decor. The fresh flowers, white drapery, and crystal chandeliers brought a crisp, fresh, light atmosphere to the open spaces. It also embodied everything spring, and was a seamless reminder of the Blossom theme. The bright shades of pink, yellow, and green worked its way throughout the venue space - whether it be hand crafted tissue paper flowers sitting on the lawn, or the life size flower arrangements. The different set ups featured towers of cupcakes, cake pops, chocolate covered strawberries and other sweet treats were just too pretty to eat! But before we left our sweet touch began to ache and we had to indulge a bit. . . . and it was totally worth it.
The food was beyond amazing! But what else would you expect at a Sugarcane Restaurant event. The choices and varitey alone was Caribbean fusion dishes were awesome. The appetizers were filling and super savory, but after a quick dance and sipping premium drinks at the bar, you definitely had to join the Sunday Lunch line, fill your plate with some authentic Caribbean foods like macaroni pie, callaloo, geera chicken, creole fish, fresh garden salad, and stew chicken. The spicy and sweet flavors were perfect.
Charmaine and the Sugarcane team are always beyond welcoming and always making sure their patrons are well taken care of. We will continue supporting Sugarcane's signature events. We can't wait for the next one!
