What a way to kick off Carnival Monday!! J'Ouvert with Whyte Angels was
well organized, free of incidents, good liquor and enjoyable. Needless
to say, it was top class in my eyes. Whyte Angels 2013 was on point in
all aspects.
CROWD:
The expectations of the promoters was to max out at 400 patrons. And so they did... and then some. The "J'Ouvert-ers" as I like to call them, hit the streets of St. James (the town that never sleeps) harrrrdddddd!! A mixed crowd of feters dressed in white tees with printed wings or butterfly wings on their backs, or with paint filled bodies, chipped down de streets while throwing rhel waist.
VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
Walking through the streets of St. James.... what could be better??!!
VIBES:
With 5 Star Akil on board the truck... both dj'ing and singing his hit
tune "Partier", the vibes was never ending. We like we self on the
road with Whyte Angels! Fire blazing, bumpers rolling, paint spraying,
drinks flowing and powder sharing.... what ya want?? Who
needs mud!!
FOOD & DRINK:
So this is simple.
Top shelf everything.... and and and ... Doubles! And who say "All Inclusive" J'Ouvert band??
Whyte Angels went all out to please it's patrons!
SERVICE:
Great service all around. From promoter Marlon to mummy to sis to cuz to de whole
family ... everyone put their hands in this J'Ouvert band's success.
COST: At TT$420.00 for an All Inclusive Jouvert band, we have noooo problem with
that. Our expectations and wining and jumping on the road for 5 hours was more than
worth it!
Overall, the experience was good. Respect to Marlon and the Whyte Angels organization.
From the music to the security in the band,
this was the band to be in. Big up to 5 Star Akil and
the other DJs on board. 2014 ... we coming!!!Out and About!
