Brooklyn's finest reached Trinidad & Tobago, just in time for Silent Morning. This boat ride seemed to be a sample of what was ahead for T&T Carnival 2013! The sun was hot and TJJ was bright and early to board the boat at the dock at Harbor Master. We definitely were operating on Trini time! We baked, roasted and toasted in the heat of the sun, but a little KFC came to the rescue and kept us calm and patient as we waited.
We waited onboard, ready to JAM and get on bad! We watched as cars swung in and out at the pier, and gradually feters boarded the boat armed with their coolers and totin' liquor. In their hot, bright hues of color, and lots of style, partygoers definitely came out and looked bess. Less than enough fabric, and ladies dared to bare skin, not to forget the swanky fellas! The attire was in a gear for sure.
All ABOARD! After 2 hours the boat was ready to leave the dock! ... but the bouncin' been start! DJ's on the one's and two's had the people going before we knew it is was Time To Fete! Taking in the sea breeze, booze, and infectious music, the crowd only needed a little time before the liqs really kicked in and the bad behavior started. Eventually, "THEY WAS LOOSE!"
The sun decided to play hide and go seek a few times, and there were a little bit of showers but who say that can stop vibez! All little water can't stop a Carnival lime like this. Partiers pumping, jumping, bouncing, bubblin' and floating; there was no misunderstanding, Silent Morning was Readddyyy For Di Rrrrooooaaaddddddddd! Yea, we Readdyyy!
