Trinidad, WI: One of the Caribbean’s most sought after female soca artistes, Patrice Roberts has joined forces with The Glam Virgin Hair Limited to endorse her official hair line, EXOTIC by Patrice Roberts. The fashionably edgy and sultry Soca artiste has been sporting her long curls for almost a month and is in love with texture and appearance.

When Roberts was approached by the leading human hair company in Trinidad and Tobago, Glam Virgin Hair Company and was introduced to the line that would be named and tailored for her, she was impressed. “Long curly hair is something that I have never tried but after being introduced to the first set of hair and the stylists I fell in love with what I am wearing” shared Roberts.

The Glam Virgin Hair Company is 100% locally owned and managed. Their Glam Virgin Hair Caribbean Collection is geared for women of the Caribbean. Natalie Danclar-Rodney, owner of The Glam Virgin Hair Company shared that her company and hair was exclusive for a number of years, with many of her clients paying a mint for high quality hair extensions that were imported from Brazil, Peru and Asia among other countries. Prior to 2012 the wearing of weave was still considered taboo, she shared “As more people began asking about our Glam hair the circle began to grow and we decided to expand our business.” The idea of choosing and aligning Patrice Roberts with three textures according to Natalie was based on Patrice’s look, “Everything is exotic about her; her beauty, her style and personality.”

Patrice is excited about her new look and has embraced her change of hairstyle, “I have been receiving tons of compliments about my hair and people are loving it just as I am” said Roberts. Patrice will continue to sport her hair line in different colours and textures in coming weeks. She confirmed the edginess that Danclar-Rodney mentioned by saying, “I am a risk taker and I love fashion and standing out, this hair helped me achieve the overall look that I was going for.”
