Chocolate City in collaboration with Boom Champions proved once again why they are and still remain one of the top J'ouvert bands on the island. Trini Jungle Juice was exclusively invited to their 2k13 presentation, 'Total Recall'.
Frankly, nothing stood out about the ‘costumes’, however, playing with a premium J'ouvert band, such as Chocolate City, it’s mostly about the all-inclusive experience and not so much the ‘costumes’. What you can count on them for are endless girls, live entertainment, enough drinks, breakfast and the band’s most important commodity...... Chocolate!
Media officials were treated to a well stocked premium bar and assorted figure foods including a bess tasting corn soup. At center stage, besides sweet ladies pouring chocolate all over their bodies, Olatunji graced the stage with an energetic performance backed by an impromptu dance number by female bartenders. Yankey Boy also touched the mic with his popular track "Rumors" on the Asti Riddim ... Shut up ya mouth!!
