‘Savage Beauty’ beautiful and deadly is the theme of Bliss Carnival 2013 which was held at the Hilton Ballroom Trinidad Lady Young Road, Belmont. Things got started around 9 p.m. where you were greeted by easy on the eye young ladies, free shots of Patron and Punchy Punch. A stage was erected in the ballroom so patrons would have a good viewing vantage point. Around ten o’clock the place quickly filled and invited guest where kept entertained by the musical prowess of Dj Marvin and International Dj Private Ryan. On the same day the music video for Nicki Manaj’s ‘Pound the Alarm’ was launched which was shot in Trinidad and featured customs from Tribe/Bliss was shown just before the presentation started.

Hooded Pitohui by Quita Correia - Headpieces, backpacks and collars by Douglas John
Luna Moth designed by Monique Nobrega - Headpieces, backpacks and collars by Douglas John

Several notable faces could have been seen socializing in the crowd. The event went until after three in the morning, with the Laventille rhythm section closing things off.
