There was what seemed to be an endless number of parties, but Brunch On The Greens was the place to be. It was such a secluded destination, perfected in its luxurious decor, complete with a design by John Jones.
We wondered how come this venue, (Garden 54) wasn't talked about before? It was extremely accessible, the parking was good and commute with no hassle.
TJJ was greeted by all of the promoters, supporters, and the committee. The counselmen gave a pleasant welcoming and it was straight to bar afterwards. The Premium Blend Bartenders were in high gear as traffic jam grew quick. Afterall, it is an all inclusive! And if you weren't a hard liquor drinker, don't worry the garden wine & beers tent was there for you!
The temperature was up, the humidity was blazing but the vibes was just right. The music definitely had the crowd upbeat from one end to the next. From old school right back till new, all dancing shoes was on. And if you weren't stepping, the chairs were rocking too! As we mingled, all the elegancy and beauty of colors in all fashionable wear was beautiful. "Old in age but young at heart", beauty was in the air of the fashion scene. I only hope I can look just as young in my kitty kat heels when I age.
Night time dawned upon us, and unfortunately the rain gushed down, but that couldn't effect vibes. All those who were frighten of water ran to there car. And the rest who partied it out ran for umbrellas, shower caps, and even cardboard boxes. . . and went right back to vibezin. Cyah done till di party shut down!
An all inclusive couldn't be completed without appetizing fine dishes from Roger Lover, Scotty & Bev Trini Chinese, Trini Indian, Mama J Sweet Hands, Venon "Laro" Larode the Creole Cuisine Tent, and if you craved sweets "Sweet Tings" tent was your spot! God bless all the cooks for providing all the tasty dishes.
Thanks to the Chairperson of Southern Connection, Clem Bowen "PRO'', Jennifer June Cooper and Vernon ''Laro'' Larode for inviting the TJJ crew. And all those who made this event successful, it was a pleasure. Next year, we definitely cannot be missed!
