SHINE Ltd is always one of the 'can't miss', most highly anticipated, talked about day fetes of the year. It is the highlights of every Memorial Day weekend in Brooklyn, and it never disappoints. SHINE had plenty vibes, and even more action. Ram packed with spunky partygoers, bars over flowing bars, delicious food, and mixed lineup of artist.
The second time in a row, SHINE had its exclusive, all-inclusive VIP section, where patrons dressed in their chic, sleek and sexy outfits, enjoying endless drinks and some delicious foods by Perfect Touch Cuisine. They rhell had a time in VIP, taking shots of Ciroc off of ice sculptures, eating crab, lobster, shrimp with waters, a wine bar, and body and face massages! . . . .YES! VIP guest had a massage booth set up in the back, thanks to Ms. Simone Wong! . . . TALK NAH!
On the other side of the fence, the gettoners section was super duper ram packed with what seemed like people from all walks of life. . . from every island of the Caribbean region. Some dressed up, some dressed down, some even came undressed. They just knew they were coming out to have a TIME for their Memorial Day . . . . and that they did do indeed.
The stage in the general section was one of a kind. It was strategically placed in the center of the open outdoor space, therefore anyone standing in the 360 degree area of the Village could get a view of the action. Below the bar, all the way around the perimeter, was a fully functioning, fully stocked bar! . . . In addition, on both far ends of the fete, there were bars too! No matter what side of the fete you were standing on, a refill was easily accessible. Lets not talk about the food. SHINE's general section, had the MOST Ammmaaazzzzziiinngggg barbecued jerk chicken ever, courtesy of Picky Eaters!
Of course almost every DJ in Brooklyn had a set at SHINE, in addition to DJ Private Ryan from Trinidad and D' Bandit from Toronto, but can't talk about SHINE without mentioning the performances. We were definitely expecting Mr. Vegas and K.I. But we should have known better. We got more than we bargained for. Kimba Sorzano and Konshens took the stage as well! Mr. Vegas made all the gyul in general Bruk It Down, and K.I have everyone chanting they go be Single Forever. Kimba bust down a wicked whine to get Over his tabanca but I must say. . . . Konshen's is a wicked artist and killed the place when he make d Gal A Bubble and Do Sumn !
The TJJ fan enjoyed the scene at SHINE, and we will continue to support B2B Entertainment each and every year. Ricardo always shows us love so we definitely have to show it back. Shout out to Nyah, who held the official Shine After Party BBQ, and Twist of Lime Bartenders for keeping the drinks flowing.
