It was a day filled of Tabanca, no not the usual tabanca but the tabanca for the Caribbean Network Tempo as they moved to remove that feeling with its return to Flow cable television line up in Trinidad and Tobago. What a better way to do so by collaborating with Woodford Café, a venue that has consistently highlighted the talent of local and Caribbean artist alike.
Yes, Tempo Tabanca was the name and it featured artist such as Ziggy Ranking, Erphaan Alves, Kimba Sorzano, Kris K.I. Persad and special guest Jah Cure who was not to perform but blessed the place with a few songs after the crowd chanted for him. The featured act Bunji Garlin took to the stage and moved the patrons to another level with an energetic performance. He was subsequently accompanied by his wife Fayanne Lions.
Now Tempo turns seven this year and will celebrate it at Six Flags in New Jersey on July 14th with performances by Kerwin Du Bois, K.I. Ziggy Rankin etc.
