Fantasy Carnival’s engagement of Angels and Mortals was definitely an amazing experience. This insatiable attraction began when the band first launched their costumes…I said to myself I MUST play with this band. Now, I always secretly wanted to be a Victoria Secrets Angel and Fantasy brought that to reality for me…my costume was AMAZINGLY whimsical and SEXY!! The band looked so gorgeous crossing the stage my word I’m getting goose bumps remembering looking forward and back at the sections.
If allyuh think TRINI have the SEXIEST, SWEETEST women then let me tell yuh Fantasy had the crème de la crème…As usual I think the guys were outnumbered but DAMN those fellas were SEXY too…trust me I was in my glee!!
Okay, let’s get down to the biz…now for a first time band I went in with a clean slate, no expectations even with the rumors of all the hick-ups they ‘might’ have on the road. FANTASY let me BIG allyuh up one time….it was BY FAR the BEST experience I’ve had on the road in a very long while.
DRINKS – Never stopped flowing, you had your choice of PREMIMUM alcohol (I drank Johnnie & Coconut) whole day and night, MON AND TUES!! I even tasted the Fantasy Fuel Shots that gave me a little boost of energy and vibes ;) OH and waiting for drinks…What was that?? I didn’t have to wait for a single drink longer than 5mins or less…AWESOMEEEE!
FOOD - You had the world of options to choose from, I can say I was spoilt for choice but the two options I picked were… MON - stew chicken, mash cassava, corn on the cob and garlic bread. TUES - was chicken lasagna, steamed veg, corn on the cob and garlic bread, topped off with some deserrt from COLDSTONE Ice Cream…lunch was PHENOMENAL….YUMMM guess who passed out after for an hour *blushes* Shhhh.
SECURITY – I had no complaints here, always felt safe within the band and took a little bubble on a couple security members working hard HaHaHa…
MUSIC/VIBES – I have to give MAJOR props to the Fantasy DJ’s especially the truck with DJ De Gannes, Ryan Spartan and DJ Tech ALLYUH WIN!!!! We had the MOST vibes on the road I swear…I had the right mix of music on the road. I know some people might not have liked the straying away from the soca from time to time, BUT not me I LOVED me my dance music sessions…It was a refreshing break. Yuh see when allyuh played Titanium especially for dat las lap/street party it was a wrap I was in my HEAVEN! OH Yes, BTW we DID have an EPIC street party on Tuesday evening to wine down the carnival experience.
FANTASY band definitely SATISFIED my carnival fantasy, and topped ALL possible expectations, people, vibes, food, drinks, and overall experience I give you’ll a FULL 100! I can’t wait for next year dreaming of my next FANTASY!!!!
PS. I already got my email for next year’s theme….SAVAGE! Can you say excitement???? Who ready for 2013? Pink Juice is READY, TJJ is READY, are YOU???
