Women, women and more women! I guess I was lucky JungleJuice decided to put me in Harts because boy did I enjoy it! Great vibes, sexy girls, beautiful costumes, sexy girls, best music and sexy girls!
So, you know a band is good when the crowd have celebs like Kees and Mr. Ian Alleyne walking with the everyone else. Then comes the women, Trinis, Bajan, Spanish, American, British, you name it, once they're hot, they're there! The female to male bumper ratio was through the roof! And to the people of Harts, kudos for the costumes, just beautiful!
The band met early, around 6:00 AM, and I guess since it was a lot of foreigners, they weren't going on Trini time, I mean, they met promptly at that time and made their way to the stage. PROMPTLY!!
As perfectly put by TnT's Hat-trick winner Machel, The Vibes Cyah Done! This is the first time I've worked on the road for carnival but boy does Harts people have energy! I believe this was the only band whose music trucks were wirelessly linked to one music source, all four of them. IMIJ and Company performed all the big soca songs of 2012 and before while DJ's Marcus William and Dr. Dominic carried the vibes the rest of the day. Bumsees for so, whining and chipping down the road!
Between each truck had several carts loaded with bottles of liquor and chasers as well as energy drinks for all in the band and at lunch time the band stopped at Victoria square where they served food or you could just go buy at the Barbeque stall in the park. Good planning for smooth running.
