Miami Broward One Carnival Jr Carnival Paints The Park with Vibrant Colorful Costumes

(For Immediate Release-Miami, FL) - 4 October 2011 - A vibrant and colorful backdrop adorned the Central Broward Regional Park at this year’s Miami Broward Jr. Carnival. Fun Generation masquerade band took the “Band of the Year” title for the third year, while Heritage TNT won the individual categories.

This year’s winners include:Aalyiah Mohammed-Heritage TNT-Junior Female Individual of the Year, Jaden Chan Tack-Heritage TNT-Junior Male Individual of the Year,Mia Marcano-Heritage TNT -Junior Queen of Carnival, Jordan Sinanan-Heritage TNT-Junior King of Carnival.

“Jr. Carnival was one of the most speculator events that we have experienced in Broward County. The rhythms, the colors and the vibrancy of the people really made the event for all those in attendance”, states Broward County Commission (District 9), Dale Holeness.

"It's amazing and exciting to see most of these kids, who probably weren't born in the Caribbean, embrace the magic of Carnival. The future of our culture is in good hands," said Jeanette Haynes, co-chair of the Junior Carnival Committee.
