>> View Caribbean Hunters Band Launch Gallery Hunting for the perfect Carnival experience? Well look no further because Carnival Hunters intends to provide this for you. Their exclusive band launching took place on the rooftop of The Brooklyn Children's Museum. I didn't quite know what to expect from the venue, the fact that it was a kids' museum threw me off a bit.
But low and behold the ambiance of the venue far surpassed all expectations that the name might have conjured up. Patrons were met at the door by ladies decked off in elaborate headpieces setting the tone for what was to come. Now I wasn't exactly sure what band was launching, I honestly thought it was their NY Labor Day presentation. I was unaware of what the concept behind Carnival Hunters was but a brief intro before the costume display provided greater clarity. The concept is providing an all-inclusive Carnival experience, Caribbean Hunters promises to be a one-stop shop for all your Carnival needs, from costumes to parties to accommodations, you name it they have you covered.
A great and very welcomed concept for those unfamiliar with their Carnival destinations or just too busy to go through all the planning involved. The evening had a laid-back, chill vibe, with patrons anxiously awaiting the costume show. Music for the evening's event was provided by DJs Volcanic Movement, Caribbean Vibes, Dr. Wax and Notorious.
Sometime after 8pm the show kicked off. And boy did they deliver, there were costumes for each of the major Carnival destinations: Canada for Caribana, Barbados for Crop Over, New York for Labor Day, London for Nottinghill Carnival, and of course for Miami Carnival and they were all on point. The only drawback with the display was that by the time the lovely ladies, oops and handsome gent came out it was a bit dark out so we couldn't appreciate the full beauty of the costumes but other than that it was a great event. Congratulations to Caribbean Passion and NYCaribbean Vibes on the collaborative effort for the Carnival Hunters trademark and the service it proposes to provide. Wishing you all the best and thanks for having the TJJ family as part of your launch.
