JerZey GirlZ certainly know how to host an event and have a good time while doing it. From the minute I got on the line I knew that this event was guaranteed to be a time well had by all. Everything was well organized and ran smoothly, which surprised me because we all know the hiccups that usually come along with attending a boat ride. Partygoers were greeted by warm smiles, complimentary masks and jello shots. What a way to start the night off!
The event menu featured a full course meal served from two separate stations so there was no long wait for the mouth watering meal. For one like me, who love meh belly, I'd give the chef 3 thumbs off if I could. The food was certainly delish, and well portioned. You didn't get the feel like they were rationing the food, everybody got more than enough to fuel up for the jam session ahead.
With music provided all night long by the Party Rocker himself, alongside Kerry D Drummer, and rhythm section, you know what kind of vibe to expect. The music was sweeeeeeet from start to finish. I will admit usually I don't like boatrides because at some point I am like ok enough is enough, and here I am with no other options but to be stuck on this boat until it docks. Not this boat ride!!! I didn't even realize when we got back to the pier, and like people didn't even want to leave the boat.
Back to Basics probably played about 10 "last" tunes before people finally decided to leave the boat and that was mainly because the boat crew had to coax them to leave. And that is not before having a lil something from the oyster man for the road. ;)
I'd like to say thank you again to the JerZey GirlZ crew for having me and TJJ cover Midnight Masquerade.
