It's new carnival season, so it's standard draft for Trini Jungle Juice to attend the annual Old Hilarians' Carnival All Inclusive more popularly know as "Bishops All Inclusive". Heh, the Old Hilarians come like family now!!

As expected, it had a wide variety of food, drinks and performances. However, this year the infamous Stewed Horse wasn't the main attraction for us. This was soca sensation Destra Garcia & her full band very 1st performance for the c2k11 season.  Destra dressed in a sexy all black outfit with a over blown mohawk had several warddrobe changes during her set, and unfortunately for me... no warddrobe malfunctions. She is looking as fine as ever on her “Welcome Back” tour after missing last year Carnival being pregnant at the time is BACK! Bumcee juicy and belly flat ... that's how we like it down here in Trinidad!

Roy Cape All Stars featuring Blaxx, Olatunji & Rita Jones delivered yet another solid performance as their 2011 releases ("Tanti Woi", "Carnival Jumbie"; "Good Time") keep growing in popularity. So it was only fitting to "Dance & Dingolay" with Denise "Saucy Wow" Belfon afterwards. JW & Blaze performed their latest release "Wild & Frisky", but it was apparent by the crowd's reaction that the song was no older than a couple days public. Super Jigga TC, Skinny Fabulous and Swappi (inna 3D) all graced the stage with Destra before they exited to head to their next fete. Dil-E-Dan was the last main band to perform on the night. No matter how many times we hear Raymond Ramnarine's "I Doh Know", we still love it. Big chune!!

The only questionable thing was that it was kind of tricky to walk around because the floor was some what uneven, but women were wining on it perfectly find (a respectable school wine). Also, they didn’t really save the best for last in regards to performances, so the show didn’t really end at a high point. However, one other thing I did enjoy was ... apparently my new favourite artist for this year ... CC's (Cee Cee) performance. Funny enoigh, a lot of folks didn’t actually know who she was until she sang her 2010 song "Steam" (ft Benjai & Kernal Roberts). Last year my artist was Swappi, who has yet brought back another year of interesting performances, but I must say, "CC your glittered leggings has thus far made my Carnival and I will be in every party you are performing in!"
