For Carnival 2k11 “Yung Fire” is at it again, with another heart pumping release that is sure to incite enjoyment while satisfying your taste buds for quality music. The 22 year old, artiste has been hard at work which is quite evident in his release for the season.
Year after year, Yung Fire has been releasing quality music that represents his personality, vocal ability, creativity while accompanying his talent, this year is no different. Carnival 2k11 sees him teaming up with Soca songstress Terri Lyons to create a unique and energetic track that is just going to make you “Jam in Yuh Section” or Jam in someone else’s Section. The track has been receiving favourable airplay and positive feedback throughout the Caribbean, Europe, United States and Canada. Fire's decision to collaborate with Lyons was an obvious choice as he felt that she was the perfect person capable of delivering the vibes he was looking to “push” on the track.
When asked about his expectation of “Jam in Yuh Section” he stated that “I want this song to be song that sets a trend and continue that trend after carnival and carnivals throughout the world...” The track which was produced by Shawn "Mastamind" Noel, is unarguable a jam with the ability to surpass the seasonal norm that we in the Caribbean have grown quite used to. As far as the future is concerned, Yung Fire has plans to continue creating and recording new music. He also has plans to release a music video for an upcoming single, along with the release of his first album.
Yung Fire will keep the fire blazing as he continues his musical career.
