2010 Road March Kings with hit song "Palance", Jason "JW" Williams and Ancil "Blaze" Isaac Jnr, released "AND IZ DAT" for the 2011 Carnival Season. Their 1st offering was "Together" on the Coca Cola Riddim. But unlike last year, the race will be tight with other contenders in the mix - Fay Ann Lyons Alvarez with "Consider It Done" (the front runner by the people dust far) and Machel Montano's latest release "Advantage" (potential to take it all the way as the season rolls along). Talk around town is, don't sleep on KES The Band groovy track "Wotless" either!

This is a TERRIBLE song! It makes me think that palance was an optimistic fluke due to last year's poor soca releases. 2011 however, is packed to capacity with really good soca contenders and they shud stop playing this song on the radio.
P.S. They performed on the promenade by "D Bocas" on the 17.02.11 and i felt sorry for JW. He really tried his best (poor thing) not sure what is blaze purpose but the crowd (waiting for swappi) wasn't feeling it. |

^^are you serious?
I agree with that there are a lot of good songs this year and the defending champions song is not in they league but do not say Palance was an optimistic fluke due to last year's poor soca releases...first of all, last year had a bit of good tunes...secondly, Palance is a great tune that does not include a lot of vanity like the other songs...I say great effort and if it was up to me...Palance cud win again! Machel taking it this year for sure... |
