Lights, Camera…….. Snowflakes, at club Prive was the place to be Boxing night. This sold out event was worth every square foot of dancing room as the club’s parking lot was transformed into some temperate climate region, but instead of snow we had rain. The venue was appropriately decorated as the main entrance was designed as an igloo, not to mention the sexy snow cone vendors (btw who sucks on ice in cold?).
Security presence was highly visible as the local police and fire officers made their rounds. Seven well stocked bars including one in VIP (yeah I counted them!) and not to mention efficient service, and thank God they decided not to use the chit system, the double wait just sobers you up, it should just be, cash, pass the drink and back to dancing.
Taking a break from the monotonous DJ selections the night was topped off by a hyped performance by Swappy and climaxed as the cloudy sky was temporarily coloured with fireworks. Despite numerous treats from the rain the event was a hit and if I had to give it a score out of five, I’ll probably give it a three, as there’s always room for improvement, who knows probably next year they might have imported snow and a guest appearance by Jack Frost himself!

Great job pulling a crowd. Definite disappointment with that foam shit after all that hype bout "snow". It created a complete disaster after that caused ppl to slip n fall n damaged evryone's expensive shoe! D floor was completely disgusting from the you entered d party from early n the credit card machine were not even working. Overall I'd say dis snowflake party was yet again over-rated. Next year please pave d carpark b4 throwing an outdoor foamflake party.

Totally agree wit Bri, all that hype for freakin foam! I was definitely a victim of slipping n having my feet wet n shoe unsticking on me. Entertainers just don't get that just cuz u pull a crowd mean ur party was a hit or it was a complete success. It's about d type of ppl u pull n if the ppl were satisfied wit the services given n SAFETY. Which brings me to the smoothe pick pocketers that were present there! A couple of ppl complain bout ppl smoothely bouncin into dem n der money o wallet went missin. My friend was a victim of such. I know dis comment may go unviewed or taken as a way to improve a party cuz noone cares about dese tings once their money is made but it's worth a try due to d disappontment granted.
