Experience the RENAISSANCE Live & Direct
On Wednesday 22nd December, TJJ went to the 51 Degrees Lounge for the premiere of a new series of events called RENAISSANCE WEDNESDAYS. Quoting from the promoter ... “It’s an innovative monthly platform that will exhibit local artists in an effort to promote the continued growth, strength and diversity of our various local cultural art forms.” Each event will be held on the last Wednesday of each month.
The first installment saw the likes of live upclose and personal performances from the Makamillion Family, as well as Parang extraordinaire Scrunter. Two totally different types of genres, but all well accepted and enjoyed by patrons alike. Also besides promoting local culture and art form, part proceeds will be donated to charities. Just another good reason for one and all to come out and support this new and exciting concept. So people, if you missed this one ... hopefully we’ll see you at the next.
