CROWD:
As always a total mixture and a totally chilled vibe! Some people came dressed to kill in their sexy backless mini dresses and some went for comfort in their coats, scarves and sneakers! Let's be honest a party in a car park in the middle of winter doesn't really dictate any particular dress code!! Fur coats were definitely a 'hot' choice for the Ladies!!! Definite eye candy around, even a few men in Uniform!!! Boom!
VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
It's a car park...designed to give you the authentic rave in a warehouse feeling! Firstly it's huge with 2 rooms to choose from, the main room being on the upper level. Everything was totally man made from the bars to the DJ booth. Ladies in heels beware the concrete was tough to walk about on and, Ladies and Gents use the portaloos at your own peril! Lol...Now most of all this venue on this particular night (it's minus 4 degrees in London... yikes!!!)meant you had no choice but to jam yourself into the main room and dance all night to keep warm!
VIBE:
★★"RHYTHMATIC One of London’s most exciting underground raves..." (Mixmag Nov 2010)★★... and they aren't wrong !!! If house music is your thing you definitely need to experience Rhythmatic!!! Their 3rd anniversary also marked our first anniversary of attending and we try not to miss one at any time!!! The music is pumping all night! You get the most amazing, fun and down to earth people( if a little crazy!!) , the best in top House music DJs and guaranteed to find some eye candy at every one! Most of all top service from the Double Trouble boys makes sure it's always a fun night! Tonight even though everyone was jamming with their coats on, the vibes never died and when Techno titan, Marco Carola jumped on the decks at 1.30am, the whole house went up!!! All you could see was hands in the air!!! Minus the weather we were definitely taken back to the those summer Ibiza vibes!!! Let's not forget the Rhythmatic favourites keeping the intimate sessions rolling if you dared brave the even colder space downstairs! Who better to help blow out your anniversary candles than Wesley Razzy and Rico Novo (to name just a few!)
FOOD & DRINKS:
Everyone seemed to have a can of Red Stripe in their hand so we guess their was a special on those!! Lol...to be honest our hands were too cold to hold a can of anything and they snuck back into our pockets at every opportunity!!! However, most people had a drink in their hand all night, there was no queue at either bar and a simple cash system so no complaints! There was no food but when you partying at these hours, a breakfast stop on the way home is always easy!
SERVICE:
Top service as always and to be honest we have come to expect nothing less than that from the team behind Double Trouble/Rhythmatic!! Best twins in the business:) Combine that with fun bar staff, top DJs and an option for a VIP experience and you can't lose.
COST/VALUE:
Tickets in advance started from £10 and gradually increased in the run up to the event. Trust me you would want to be the early bird with this as tickets sold out way in advance! There were still people queuing to get in at 3am...:) Make sure you get in early and it's an absolute bargain! We think prices reached as high as £18 in the last stages but you wouldn't want to miss it, even in the freezing cold!
Posh Juice for the TJJ fam
