Must say enough props to the artists in charge of the portrait. D Project and Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs...."Take WIN!" Uncle Anil, well done. Hope to be apart of any future events you all bring forward that displays the talents of our loving country. To D Project Records, hope to be invited to any events y'all have to excite and display the talents of the people in your roster.
CROWD:
Let me paint this picture to all readers of how this show proceeded. Now we all know that a painting has colors. In this scenario, the crowd fit the description. There was a variety of people present that night; ranging from the young and old, the eccentric to classy. Did i mention the young was present? Not meaning the young men and women, nor the young at heart. I mean the primary school attending, Dora The Explorer watching, Spongebob Squarepants laughing.... crowd. Now this had me a bit confused for two reasons. Reason 1: The youth had their own section at the side of the stage, which mind you was apparently closer than the "V.I.P" section. Reason 2, and this was the reason I was mostly confused. Now i don't know if the parents or children present had ever heard a Nicki Minaj song. That'a all i have to comment on where that is concerned. On to the next items on this painting.
VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
Now every good painting needs a canvas, and the Hasley Crawford Stadium was the venue for this event. Fully lit, with both stage lights, luminescent bulbs, and even occasional fireworks during performances (which we'll get to in a bit) complimented one another to really put on a great show for the audience.
VIBES:
And now there's the actual painting. Let's deal with the meaning of the painting first of all. Localize Itt (correct spelling) ..... the concept was that Trinidad and Tobago was full of talent and it was about time that Trinbagonians come to realize that. What better way to this than bring together all aspiring and infamous local artists and put them on one stage. Which then brings me to the items on the painting. Local artists ranged from aspiring artistes such as guitar player and vocalist Judah B, to upcoming artists like Nebula 868, King David, to the well knowns like The Millionaire Dollar Family, Squeezy Rankin and the Road March and Soca Monarch Kings of 2010, J.W & Blaze. Lets not forget, our very own NICKI MINAJ also graced the stage causing the crowd in a frenzy. Now even though she couldn't say any obscenities, apparently everyone else knew the lyrics and sang along boldly. Hey, I myself sang her verse in "Monster".

I too am seriously confused, especially after watching the pics. Apart from Nikki Minaj's lyrics, did the CHILDREN witness the type of behaviour I'm seeing here on stage?
