CROWD:
With Glow taking place on the same night, Frazzled definitely holds down a pretty good crowd turnout. And partygoers come to have a good time.... short pants and soft shoes all round!
VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
In St. Michael, it was easy to find, and easy to park. If street parking isn't for you, $5 BDS could land you in a parking lot.
VIBES:
Nuff vibes, and with loads of DJs and live performances on hand, the crowd was HYPE! Surprise artiste Naya George (TnT's 2002 Road March winner with "Trinidad") blessed the dance around 3AM, and Lil Rick hit the stage after 4AM with his 2010 Crop Over hits ("Go Dung" and "Big Hail").
FOOD/DRINKS:
POOR, POOR PLANNING AT THE BAR!!!! A definite bone of contention with the crowd at hand. Average wait for a drink 25-40mins!
SERVICE:
I think there was mutual frustration from both patrons and staff a like.
COST/VALUE FOR MONEY:
A relatively inexpensive fete ($30 BDS), however I thought there was some significance to the MUGS.... i.e. fancy cup meant FREE drinks! Needless to say, I was caught off side when I actually got my drink after 35mins and had to pay, but my money was worthless because I had to get tickets (chits). Not to mention, I loathe ticket(chits) for drinks systems! If that's how you're going to do it, have it at and/or near the door, with possible a second table located inside, reducing the number of queues for one to stand in.
All in all, in it's 2nd year running, Frazzled was still a good fete. And from all accounts the crowd enjoyed themselves. With a few kinks ironed out, next year's will surely be bigger and better!
