The event was COMPLETELY and COMPREHENSIVELY SOLD OUT. Persons who ignored the warnings of purchasing early and arrived on the scene hoping to get tickets were mildly disappointed. I personally witnessed a man purchase tickets from an individual for US$135.00. Such was the demand to gain entry into what was billed as a J'Ouvert fete albeit indoors.

But could Dr Jay and his cast live up to the expectations of those in attendance?

The short answer is..... yes

The long answer is OH LORD YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!

Leave it to the DR JAY to take an outdoor event and bring it indoors and still maintain the vibe and tradition associated with the event. All the DJs were on point at no point letting the massive crowd slip out from under their hypnotic soca trance. The live performances  of TALLPREE , PROBLEM CHILD and SHURWAYNE WINCHESTER caused security and stage crew to use every muscle in collective bodies to prevent the towers of speakers from coming down. Such was the pace of the evening. To attempt to tell you more on the evening would not do it justice and neither would I want to remind you of what you missed instead I would STRONGLY very STRONGLY recommend that you sleep outside the ticket locations, the ticket printers or Dr. Jays house in order to get a ticket when they go on sale in 2011.....
