This Caribana season people nah goin' easy at all.  Party lovers once again came out in full force to another one of Dr. Jay's legendary parties. The 15th annual Whiteout Till It`s Brighout was held at Kool Haus on Saturday July 17th, 2010 and was without a doubt filled to capacity.

The strict all white dress code was enforced by security outside of the event. All white outfits or you out in de cold. TJJ did not take a chance and came dressed in all white, all set for the action on the inside.

The DJs and emcees for the night did an excellent job of warming up the crowd. Soca, reggae and dancehall hyped up every musical bone inside of the party attendees. Though some seemed less enthused about the reggae segment of the party, they were still very well entertained by Lindo P.

Toronto's popular comedian Trixx alongside E-man also did a great job at hosting the show. Trixx made sure to shout out all the islands and gave each a chance to be in the spotlight. Island people surely know how to represent their countries with their rags and flags and display the beauty of the diversity here in Toronto. 

At 2 a.m. the Roy Cape All Stars out of Trinidad and Tobago performed together with some other big artists including Nadia Batson and Rikki Jai. Popular tracks such as "Oh Lawdddd Carnival come again and Barman gimme a Guinness" had the crowd in a frenzy. One brave man jumped off the stage elevating the excitement level at the show. The powder posse at the front of the stage never fail. It's hard to imagine a good fete without their energy.

Oh what a night! From those who got some Love and Affection, to those who skipped to my lou everyone had a blast. Do you get this feeelinggg!! At TJJ we have the feeling that Whiteout Till It's Brightout was worth every dollar and better yet we have the feeling that it`s time for the next one. The strong ones made it till it really was bright out at 6 a.m. Can you imagine stepping out of Kool Haus to see the sunrise and getting some corn soup for breakfast. Nothin`sweeter than that. Dr. Jay de Soca Prince did it again!
