Moore's effort entitled 'Safari' uses lots of cottons and silks to capture the exotic and natural essence one expects from such an adventure.
"I'm very excited about this collection", Moore offered, " This being my first collection people will be able to see my creativity beyond the somewhat static world of designing business wear. I'm also excited because we launch our website, www.emphasistt.com, on the same night"she continued.
Moore, a management student at UTT's Caribbean Academy of Fashion and Design, is the recipient of the award for best business wear at the 2006 Making Style Fashion Week. The show kicks off on Sunday 28th September from 7-8 pm, at Alice Yard, Roberts Street, Woodbrook.

BIO:
In 2002 Petra Moore, an ordinary dress designer working out from her home found a niche in the market, women "Business Wear" after two years of building a strong clientele Petra moved her business from home to its present location.
With a clear vision, she built Emphasis Clothing based on quality –fit-design and true values. Along with the help and encouragement of her husband, they were determined to have an input in the fashion industry influencing how women dressed for work.
In 2006, Emphasis was invited to be part of "Makin Style" Trinidad and Tobago fashion week. Petra won best cooperate wear designer in her category to add to her achievements in 2007. Petra was chosen to represent Trinidad and Tobago in the 6th Common Wealth Small Business Development Programme in Cochin India returning home with a wealth of knowledge, and experiences that she could learn from and apply to the on-going improvement of the company.
In 2008 she has been accepted at UTT school of fashion. Emphasis is now in the position to focus on their retail outlet and plan to become part of women life style in selected events.
