CROWD:
Usual bachanaal. One word. Mud! Indulge this year gave those looking to have a good time without too much clean up afterwards an excellent option. Plenty bottom with no leash.
VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
Georgia Avenue is a nice parade path. The lack of curves and turns are made up by the ups and downs of the surface, and saves the dangers of being run over by a turning truck, or losing yuh woman in a band... Wait, is that a good thing?
Tip, park near the end, but not too near, the sudden end of the parade in front of Howard University can lead to a much bigger crowd in a space not designed to handle it.
VIBES:
Sprang International, DJ Spyda, , DJ Hazard, DJ Stephens (from LA, formerlay Atl), DJ Super Slice and DJ Spice.... you can imagine.... the vibes. all the best DJ's and MUD! There were two fellas selling Carib beer out of a drinks cart. They followed the trucks along the entire route... plenty woman wine up on that vendor cart!
FOOD/DRINKS:
If you didn't bring your bottle of rum on the road, then you have nobody else but yourself to blame.
SERVICE:
Ladies where serving up bumsies whole day. Well organized parade. Hassle Free, incident Free.
COST/VALUE:
FREE FREE FREE... oh yeah, if you want mud and a costume, support the mass and sign up. They are very affordable and they will make sure that you don't collapse from dehydration along the way.
