CROWD:
Though we arrived what can be considered early for this event the line at the one entrance was madd long, but you done know we have behavior so we headed straight to the front and skipped... can't spent precious party time standing on line now can we. The Stages crowd tends to skew more towards the college aged kids, they still manage to step up their game in the fashion dept, especially the ladies. Heels and dresses are the order of the night.
VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
So after bypassing all those folks online, we ascended two flights of escalators to emerge at the top of the stands overlooking the racetrack and also to realize we were not as early as once presumed. There were two bars on the general admission side and another in the VIP section which was setup behind the stage, and also had its own food station.
VIBE:
The music at Stages is always top notch, and with the likes of Super Dups and Walshy Fire of Black Chiney on the stage alongside, Jazzy T and Dutty Dex its easy to see why. DJ Barrie Hype provided the soca session.
FOOD & DRINKS:
Stages is always All Inclusive, and always attended by well over 1000 people, so there is always more than a few people at the bar ahead of you. There is less competition at the bar in VIP and a better selection as well.
COST/VALUE:
$45 presold for an All Inclusive OR you can take your chance with whatever they are charging at the door on the night. We would not suggest doing that however, get your ticket before the day.
