The music video was directed by ace music video director Asha McHail of Fareye Films and was shot at locations in Yallahs, St Thomas and in Long Mountain, Kingston. The video’s story line tells a tale of a son who is overcome with the grief of suddenly loosing his father, with whom he had a very strained relationship. Throughout the video he can be seen reflecting on times gone by both good and bad as he sadly realizes that with his father now gone he can not mend fences with him. This reality only makes his grief more unbearable because there were so many things left unsaid between them.
The video also features cameo appearances from Computer Paul who plays the role of the father and girl group MBC which is also signed to Boot Camp Records. It recently premiered in the USA on Tempo and BETJ, and is currently receiving good rotation on both stations.
Last week Stevie’s fans at home got a chance to see the video for the first time as it was aired locally for the first time on high profile television shows such as Windford William’s Onstage which is aired on CVM TV and Suzy Q’s Video Alley which is aired on TVJ. It is currently receiving heavy rotation on television stations such as RETV, Hype TV and NTV.
