Of both jump days I have to admit Carnival Monday was by far my preferred, great vibes, great energy from all, everyone had a blast - my self definitely included!
CROWD:
TRIBE 2010 represented peoples from all over the globe wanting a great Trinidadian Carnival experience and TRIBE certainly did not disappoint!
The immense crowd lucky enough to get their hands on a coveted TRIBE costume were jumping and palancing and generally getting on bad, like Carnival Tuesday wasn't just a few hours away!
With TRIBE regulation dictating at least the wrist bands had to be worn, people turned up in all varieties of costume attire from full out costume, to sexy lil' outfits, to some more questionable wardrobe selections.
VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
With TRIBE being one of the biggest and baddest carnival bands in Trinidad you couldn't have missed the trucks and revelers chipping down the road!
VIBES:
Even before the MULTIPLE rum n cokes and the force fed (thanks to my girl Asha) Tequila shots the energy on the road with TRIBE was one to remember, all were out for one reason and one reason only! TO HAVE A GREAT TIME! And we did, props to the TRIBE organizers and all involved.
FOOD/DRINK:
Food, wow, what a selection, TRIBE definitely wanted to make sure their masqueraders were fed! The energy ice-lollies at lunch were a nice and refreshing touch too.
A great job was done on ensuring nothing ran out in any of the bar trucks and drinks were served quicker than I have ever experienced at any carnival, pretty impressed.
SERVICE:
Big up to all the TRIBE staff for all their helpful and friendly service, thank you. The only complaint I heard fuh the day was from those who used the portable toilets at the end a lunch, hmmm well what can you say to that other than.. 'Don't wait til the end a lunch to go! haha'.
COST/VALUE:
To be honest, I try not to think about the amount a cash people spent on their costumes, however the quality was impressive to say the least, covering two days and including all drinks and food.
