Dirty Dozen has a bright future ahead, with a bigger and better J'ouvert experience pending with every year that passes. Job well done guys!!! Big up Konata and crew on keeping the folks happy.
CROWD:
Dirty Dozen's first year had a comfortable, girl to guy ratio crowd, with over 300 party harders. All smiles, drinks in hand, dancing all over the streets and generally a sweet vibe. For sure next year will be bigger. FAH SURE !
VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
Finding the meeting point was no stress. Pretty much in the general vicinity of the Queen’s Park Oval, by the Dirty Dozen Mas Camp. Well lit, secured parking, with an excitement in the atmosphere, music pumping, people drinking and GOOD to GO !
VIBES:
The general vibe for a first year was wicked. Everyone was all for a good time, energetic and friendly. The presence of security, 40ft Music Truck and International cast of Dj's, kept the crowd moving throughout the night till early morn and the drinks kept flowing.
FOOD/DRINK:
There was a well stocked premium bar including Johnnie Walker Black, Black and White Scotch Whiskey, Hennessy, Malibu Coconut Rum, Absolut Vodka, Carib etc. Breakfast was inclusive and promptly served on return to the Dirty Dozen Mas Camp. Sorry to say the variety was not outstanding, then again it was the first year so we'll see how it goes next year.
SERVICE:
A good job done for a first time.
COST/VALUE:
For $350TT / $60US, I'd say I was satisfied and had a memorable experience.
