Trini Posse 2010 ... cooler fete ... where else will you possibly go on any Carnival Saturday ... some say ... "Under The Sheets with DJ Pillows" ... but we disagree ... we have to endorse Trini Posse ...

CROWD:
Every carnival saturday I swear for the last zillion years, Zen (used to be Club Coconuts ... ah showing off meh age) has thrown this party entitled Trini Posse! Without fail and without question - the turn out is always massive and never will be empty! Trailer Loads! Bus Loads! Car Loads! Anytime you see trucks/vans coming to a party and people are in the trays sitting down ... they mean business! Usually Zen always pulls an appealing crowd and tonight was no different as the females came out in their partying attire to have the men looking twice! Now this being a cooler fete ... shorts pants was the outfits!!! I wish Chinese Laundry will come on stage and sing that song again!!!!

VENUE/ACCESSIBILITY:
In the heart of Chaguaramas - the Hanger is always transformed into a "carnival capital" so to speak - where Zen hosts all their events! It is very spacious and the stage is always of great design! As usual the VIP section is around the sides and with one "buss-tail" stairs connecting the two sections. The bathrooms are always located in the back and in the back of VIP while the food and bars are all at the side! The usual parking situation ... right outside the venue ... tonight however, there was some vandalism on cars ... broken windows as such! Where was the security! Some points drop off deya ...

VIBES:
How do you really measure the vibes in a party?
Is it by the crowd response from what the DJs are playing ... Well that was ah bouncing ball - it will bounce but it will always stop
Is it by the crowd response from what and how the Artistes were performing ... Well that was remarkably familiar ... being carnival saturday every performance has now become repetitive - every performance is the same - you could basically predict what each performer is going to do ... nothing changes ...
Be that as it may ... the crowd at Trini Posse enjoyed themselves ... We cannot say no to that ... Whether they enjoyed themselves to the maximum is the question ...

FOOD/DRINK:
We doh rate $TT 10.00 for a bottle ah water ... that is rubbish!
Your food in VIP from the Gyro crew was tasty! We did not hear any complaints about the food being served in general but hey ... there were people stuffin' their pans!
Drinks ... well ... it was a cooler fete ... so BRING YUH OWN BOOZE !!!

SERVICE:
So ... Uhm ... We Don't Know ... from the party-goer's perspective ... we think service was good ... and we leave it at that!!!

COST/VALUE:
As with most Zen events ... we leave the general public and part-goers to comment as to whether they got a bang for their money ... somehow ... personally we may think not ... but hey it is carnival ... spend yuh money and get on bad ... remember ... No Behaviour!!!!
