Kingston Jamaica: February 2, 2010: After scoring his first No.1 on local soil with his 2008 hit ‘On My Darling’, multi-talented actor/singer and songwriter Peter Lloyd continues to break new ground in his plight to becoming one reggae music’s most sort after acts.

Last Friday the singer repeated the feat by scoring his second No.1 in less than two years with ‘Searching’ on the FIWI Choice/TVJ’s Entertainment Report chart. The single written by Lloyd and produced by legendary Saxophonist Dean Fraser is also enjoying premium airplay on various radio stations across North America including, WGFS and WATB in Atlanta, WAVS in South Florida,  WVIP and VibeOneFM, New York and Big Links Radio in New Jersey.  The song is available on the Cannon Productions label.

Peter Lloyd who has been a long standing member of the acting fraternity currently plays a lead role in the local drama series ‘The Blackburns’ aired every Sunday on CVM Television.

Seldomly seen in the social circles, this is due to Peter being consistently in the studios working to attain that next big hit while simultaneously fine tuning his craft. He is now recording the final tracks for his upcoming sophomore album still untitled.
