Peter Ram "Pumpin" up the charts Port-Of-Spain, Trinidad - Jan. 14th 2008 Peter Ram, the man who last year brought us the mega hit, "Woman By My Side" is yet again making musical waves with his current chart climber, "Pumpin" and its accompanying music video. Both song and video have been been welcomed and embraced by the people of Trinidad and Tobago, especially during this period of Carnival festivities. The video itself is the brainchild of Caribbean music video director Jay Will (the man behind music videos such as Vegas' "Tek Way Yuhself" and Shaggy's "Church Heathen"). The quality of the video speaks for itself, displaying Barbados' Caribbean beauty, while Ram himself has obviously stepped up his game by trading in the Benz from his previous video for a yacht in this new one. The song "Pumpin" is on the Nirvana Riddim and is the collaborative effort of producer Darron Grant of Underground Studios and Cory Jordan (keyboardist for the band Krosfyah). The popularity of the song in T&T is unquestionable as evidenced by the crowd responses during Ram's recent performances at events such as Bazodee Friday and Witco One Fete. As
he prepares to compete in the International Soca Monarch Competition, Peter Ram
continues to "Pump" up the audiences with his unique style of lyricism
and delivery. For
