This make or break,
take no prisoners-type reality tv/real life drama gets up close and personal,
capturing the unique, distinct experiences struggles and triumphs
of individual athletes as they journey to victory or failure.
What would happen
if an athlete, who promised a lot but for whatever reason never lived
up to expectations, was given one last chance to give his career one last
go?
Now or Never is a locally based reality Tv program documenting the revival
of a once forgotten, all-star athlete attempting to give one last go at
his sporting career. The concept is simple, yet quite intriguing and begs
you to ask the question "is talent and drive enough?" Can someone
succeed only with their passion or are other things just as important?
So to rule out the variables we gave Ricardo Paty (A once great cricketer
and the star) everything an athlete could ever dream of ; a dietitian,
strength and conditioning coach, physical therapist, psychologist as well
as paying all of his bills and setting him up in an apartment. Not to
bad huh?
Promoting the "Localise
it" movement, everything and everyone featured on this program is
entirely local. Shot by a young, talented camera crew, produced locally,
directed by locals. Even the entire soundtrack was performed by locally
based talent. Every single shot of this show has been done within the
shores of Trinidad and Tobago and over the last 6mths of shooting we have
seen some awesome things. During the 13 Episodes scheduled for this season,
we showcase "Trini" in all its glory.
The slogan for this
show says it all. "Dare to dream the impossible".
Tune in to tv6 Every
Sunday at 9pm to see whether Ricardo Paty is up to the challenge of making
a career of cricket or just going to let the opportunity of a lifetime
slip through his fingers.
