Today was a busy day for us... link up rest of TJJ team flying in, interviews with Radio Cayman and Vibe 98.9 FM, stop by LIME to get our team connected, catch Shurwayne's sound check for tonight's show "Represent", check out the 5th Annual Song Competition, and somewhere in between grab a bite to eat.

So when KD (Total Vision Entertainment) told us Cayman Bacchanal was hosting live Steel Pan music all courtesy of the La Pierre Family at Singh's Roti Shop, it was a no brainer ... sweet, pulsating iron and more Roti ... LET'S DO THIS!

Earl La Pierre and the Panoramers jammed as everyone indulged in their beverage of choice. And while some folks enjoyed a game of domino, we decided to put down a rounds of Red Stripe to celebrate Mai's 21st birthday. Of course, I had to try a Caybrew, the Beer of the Cayman Islands, before running off to the Annual Batabano Song Competition. Happy Birthday Mai!
