Date: Saturday 28th March 2009 Location: Party Stand. Bridgetown. Barbados Promotions: BoomTribe and Power x Four Click on thumbnails to see the big picture/entire gallery With cricket fever in the air, BoomTribe and Power X 4 brought to Bim "Tusty Fuh Cricket" at the Party Stand (no folks, not at the Oval). There was much talk about this party as the performances included Mr. Tusty himself, Blaxx out of TnT, Krosfyah and a special guest artist. However, the elements were not our friends Saturday night, and the rain really put a damper on things! The night started out slow, but as the performers came to stage, the great music must have vibrated throughout the island and the peeps started rolling in. Krosfyah's performance was fantastic; Edwin & Khiomal really had the crowd going singing both the classics and their new songs. Blaxx was a huugggee hit with his 2k9 jam "Tusty", the Bajans truly enjoyed this Trini artist. We even had one of our own Bajans, "Coxy" go on stage to sing his version of Tusty! And who was the guest artist you ask? Well it was Stabby the Guard decked down in his uniform. Our DJs for the night definitely kept the cool vibes going: BoomTribe, Alvin Toppin, Versee Wild and Bubbles & Stan. The night may have started out slow, but it surely did not end that way as we rolled out of the party in the wee hours of the morning! 1 hour of sleep and the next stop ... Kensington Oval!
