Seductive
Saturdays/Mingle Sand, Surf & Partying in Tobago Carnival done and everything is back to normal, but Trini Jungle Juice is still on the move. It's a long weekend in T&T, so we decided to check out the vibes in lovely Tobago. It was a beautiful Saturday morning, and the entire crew - including top disc jockeys & personalities of T&T - were in flight, all ready to provide some of the hottest entertainment to Tobago. The first stop was by the Trinibashment 91.9FM studio to let the Tobago massive know about the weekend's activities, then we headed back to the guest house to gear up to party. Our first night started at midnight with The Shade's "Seductive Saturdays", so you know the party was already in a full swing. From our last visit, we were a part of The Shade Re-opening with their new VIP section, so let's see what they had to offer this weekend. Rompin Shop, a new dancehall sound on the market, played as the crowd on the lower dance floor swayed. The crew of DJs on the pioneers each represented to the fullest, bussing tune after tune. We even had a little fun with Mr. Slaughter (X-caliber Sound), getting some smallies to pose off with him while on the set (see photo). Large up everytime!
On the following night, we were back at The Shade for an event called Mingle "The Single Event". I guess it's one night you wanna be single! It was the usual party vibe with a different cast of DJ's showing off their skills, playing some new tunes like "Bend Over" by RDX. Get familiar. Our cameras caught some sexy UWI girls that rolled up in the dance. We even saw Synergy Soca Star 4 winner, Chynee, mingling and doing a lil' Kung Fu fighting in the crowd. As always, we had to visit Pigeon Point to check out the sand & surf (as well as the sexy girls sun tanning), before flying back to Piarco. Jet skis and a banana boat was provided by Waterholics while we enjoyed a few cocktails in between. It was a photographer's dream - exotic animals, glass bottom boat, a local fisherman cleaning his catch, folks enjoying a game of volley ball while sipping on some cold beers and a spectular sunset. Tobago vibes nice everytime! Special thanks to Sunset Promotions (Rene) who handles TJJ right up. Be sure to check us out Easter Weekend 2009 for the "Colours of The Shade 2" as TJJ will be doing it live for 5 days! D'Young Juice |
