Washington, DC Promotions: Culture Shock Click on thumbnails to see the big picture/entire gallery Its been 2 weeks, 1 day and 4 hrs since I got back from TnT Carnival and I haven't been to a fete yet?!?!?! Let me tell you, I was suffering from a serious case of PCWS (Post Carnival Withdrawal Syndrome). So when the fellas from Culture Shock called & invited TJJ to The After Glow, yuh know I had to be there! They told me to be there around midnight, and so we rolled to the venue a lil' after midnight. Well, like everyone was still on Trini time cos people now starting to arrive. In about half an hour though, the place started filling up. We even bounce up several folks we jammed with in TnT ... reminisced for a few, took a wine for old time sake and then it was back on the clock. By this time, the place was packed and the DJs - DJ Gekko, Majestic and Private Ryan - were mashing up de place with all kinda soca and reggae hits. And every time they played the 2009 soca, the crowd reached higher heights! They were loosing their good minds .... I tell you, it was all kinda winery going on ... 2kwine for trut yes!! The DJs then switched
to reggae and even played some hip hop ... and then it was back to soca
again ... wine wine wine wine wine wine wine wine wine ... "WE
LIKE IT"!! Big ups to the fellas of Culture Shock. Thanks for having us! We had a blast as usual and look forward to de next fete. L Boogie |

I can't believe the energy of these young people ... maybe it's a sign
that I'm getting old cos I couldn't handle all dat action on de dance
floor. I went up stairs were the rest of my grown & sexy folks were
jamming. And the jamming continued until security forced us out of the
club ... hehe!
