Red pants, red jersey, red shoe, red socks, red hat, red eyes, red rags, red flags, red cars ... EVERYTHING RED! Everybody had on red that night. And for another successful year, the GCC Crew had everyone following orders at their 3rd Annual Red Fete held at Donjenelle's Unisex Salon on Covington Hwy in Atlanta.

It was red everywhere ... even the balloons had a part to play in this party as it brought out the aesthetic beauty of the location. Yes, yes, yes ... your boy JoyJuice using big words here! The place was real nice people.

De Iron Man from New York, who by the way making his inaugural visit to Georgia, says that he here for the Carnival and all he want to do is beat iron! And that he did .... all night. DJ Stephen, one of Atlanta's very best, made it hard for the Iron Man to keep up, flinging tunes left, right and center, but he handle himself good. And guess what? De Scandalous Crew was in full effect .... AhhhGainnn ... as usual ... especially when Blaxx's "Tusty" start to play. Allyuh hear this .... even though Krista (GCC veteran) was working, she getting on to every song behind the bar counter, while serving drinks!! It was pure niceness.

But wait, allyuh look ah Doubles man in de party ... imagine that! Hot doubles .... well yuh know we doh stick on food! And as soon as we finish eat doubles, ah lady say, "Try this nah." Try what? When we look around, it was a corn soup!! Wow, GCC had everything on lock! It was good food, nuff drinks and bumpers moving inside d place. And play allyuh doh know .... once bumpers rolling, Doggy does bring out his best .... Mr. Parallel to the ground!! smile

Red Fete this year certainly clipped the one from last year ... times ten. So we know what to expect for the 4th Annual Red Fete right? Well Aunty Pam say she ready to go. She not missing anything when it comes to Carnival. Aunty Pam we love ya! Krista and the GCC Crew, thanks again. We dey for the 4th, 5th, 6th .... and on and on and on!

Another Red Fete down, but the GCC have their Carnival on Saturday May 23rd at the Wade Walker Park in Dekalb County, GA. Join them in their celebrations as the Atlanta Carnival is on the way - Memorial Day Weekend.
