I can barely hear people talking to meh due to the Big Trucks ("Big Truck"). There are nine bands on de road. Dey says 2 tings about a man ... 1. Never mess with his truck and 2. Don't touch his music. I'm telling yuh people ... all the DJ's were vicious and fierce with Soca music. Most bands are non-alcoholic and provide food and security. De masqueraders are jumping, wining and swaying. I must say ... people are feeling de heat while moving to de beat! Yuh know mas is a time to party and lime, to let loose and be free with no worries or stress in de world. Even with the clouds and thunder in de sky, that's how the masqueraders are feeling. DEY DON'T CARE, IT'S CARNIVAL PEOPLE!! Impression and expression is de name of game. Bands are conveying their creativity and displaying costumes on de road. Entering into the park, vendors are lined up. You have doubles, phulorie, corn soup, chicken (cooked in various styles), flag station, bounce house and much more. The thunder is rolling and clouds getting darker. Ooops... here goes the rain. TJJ sends love to the Orlando Carnival Association and all masqueraders.
