Date: Friday 19th June 2009 Location: North Deck. North Coast Road. Trinidad W.I. Promotions: Caesars Army Click on thumbnails to see the big picture/entire gallery It was Labour Day in Hawaii ... or so everyone thought, but we were in fact still very much in Trinidad.
The scene created by the Caesars Army for Mai-Tai was in fact what the people of Trinidad and Tobago were missing ... something unusual in entertainment that can only be described as an adventure. It was a bright sunny day at the North Deck, or as the Caesars Army crew fondly calls it, Rum, Sun & Fun! and this atmosphere was the perfect recipe for paradise. The day started off at around 3pm, where guests of the Army were shuttled from the secured parking at Trinity College in Maraval to be whisked away to the paradise getaway, nestled in the hills of the Northern Range.
Guests of the Caesars Army all received complimentary leis on entry, as well as, a complimentary Mai-Tai which is a traditional Hawaiian cocktail. There was no mistaking where we were .... Hawaii ... oops, I meant Trini-Hawaii! What was commendable was that the guests strictly stuck to the theme of the event, which was, A Hawaiian Cooler Experience. Guests came out all decked out in beach wear as well as Hawaiian get-ups and were all ready to limbo!! Ole! Ole! Ole! Ole! ... Feeling Hot Hot Hot!!!
The hula girl crews were in abundance and even some of the guests decorated their coolers with a hawaiian theme. Imagine the winner with a cooler that resembled a palm tree and you will begin to understand how much of a vacation adventure this party was turning out to be!! The view from the top was absolutely breath-taking, hence the reason that the Army ensured that their guests arrived during the daylight. It was incredible! You could see the expanse of blue seas and greenery and even when the guests arrived... you could tell it took their breath away. It was the perfect picture opportunity. Snapshots first and then the FUN began.
As the event drifted into the night, people became less social and released all inhibition as they danced into the night. The event was to originally end at 8pm, but the feting seemed never ending much to the delight of the patrons who were in bliss literally. All in all, this Caesars Army event was no different from the rest. Adventure begins with Rum, Fun & Sun so with Caesars Army the adventure never stops! Looking forward to their next mission for Barbados Crop Over 2009 with utmost anticipation!!! -Candace ==================================== |
